ZyRuP’s ‘Untold Story’ — A Journey Told Through Music

First and foremost, ZyRuP—Vayanga and Dilini—poured their heart and soul into Untold Story. From the very beginning of this project to its final release, they worked tirelessly to bring their vision to life. Every song is a reflection of their dedication, creativity, and hard work, making this EP a true labor of love.

Juda, from Terminal16 Studios, played an essential role in the creation of Untold Story. He worked as the recording engineer, mixed three of the tracks, and mastered all six. Juda took on the responsibility of adding the final touches to the songs, and his creativity and hard work were crucial in achieving the sound that defines this EP. As one of the top mixing engineers in Toronto, his contribution to Untold Story stands out as truly outstanding.

Alyce, the talented Bulgarian producer, singer, and songwriter, wrote the lyrics for three songs on Untold Story. ZyRuP has been collaborating with Alyce for a long time, and she also featured as the singer on ZyRuP’s second original track, “Young and Bold.” Alyce’s lyrics bring powerful messages to the world, adding depth and meaning to the EP. The chemistry between Alyce and ZyRuP is truly remarkable, with their creative synergy shining through in every track.

Vivek Mehmi, a talented singer/songwriter from Mississauga, was featured on the song “Make It Count (MIC)” from Untold Story. He brought his creativity and energy to the track, helping to share a message of positivity and inspiration with the world. Collaborating with Vivek was one of the goals ZyRuP had set from the moment they connected, and bringing that vision to life has been a rewarding experience for both sides.

Madushan from Kites Image worked as the cinematographer for the two music videos released with Untold Story—”What Does It Take” and “SSW.” His creativity and vision brought a stunning visual representation to the songs, perfectly complementing the music. In particular, his work on “SSW” truly elevated the cinematic vibe of the video, showcasing his talent for creating impactful, visually captivating content.

Saliya Illangasinghe, a talented Sri Lankan musician from B’s Hut and Meladine Music Conservatory, mentored Vayanga in music production and also joined Untold Story as one of the guitarists. He added his distinctive guitar touch to the track “What Does It Take,” enhancing its overall sound. Beyond his musical contributions, Saliya has been a valuable guide to ZyRuP, offering advice and support on numerous occasions throughout the creation of the EP.

Izzy Wildchild, a talented Sri Lankan guitarist and musician from Wildchild Labz, played a key role in Untold Story as one of the guitarists on the song “What Does It Take.” Not only did he bring his skills to the guitar work, but he also mixed the track, ensuring it had the perfect sound. Izzy’s hard work and dedication were evident throughout the process, as he went above and beyond to get the best possible sound for the song, adding his own creativity at key moments to elevate the track.

Federico Castrogiovanni, a talented drummer from Argentina, played drums on the track “What Does It Take.” His powerful drumming brought the perfect rock vibe to the song, and he skillfully blended his rhythms with the underlying dubstep beat, creating a unique and energetic fusion. Kushmin B, a talented drummer from Toronto, brought his rhythm and groove to the track “SSW.” As the song shifts its genre midway, his drumming adds the perfect transition and drives the energy forward. His smooth blend of styles helped shape the unique feel of the track, making his contribution an essential part of the song’s vibe.
