I am a proud member of MAC. I have written five non-fiction books, and I use the contents as educational tools in my community volunteer outreach programs.

My focus in 2024 was to touch the lives of 1,000 youths and their families! I humbly share that I conquered this goal and even gave myself time to touch the lives of seniors to assist them in celebrating Mississauga’s 50th anniversary.

I exceeded my goal through volunteer outreach, such as mentorship, diversion of youth away from the youth criminal justice system, education in afterschool programs and summer classes, collaboration and partnership with community groups, and facilitation of conferences and workshops.

When you give from your heart, expecting nothing in return, surprises await you.

M.P. Peter Fonseca nominated me to receive the King Charles III Coronation Medal from the Governor General of Canada. I humbly accepted this prestigious medal on March 6, 2025, at a reception in my municipality of Mississauga.

Here are two memorable quotes from the lives touched:

“I admire your strength, determination and dedication to helping others succeed.  My family and I hope all the best for your future.”

“Bravo to the best nurse I ever worked with. I know that in your work life, you made awesome impacts, and in your retirement, you have continued to plan and reach dynamic goals. You are never too busy to impart your knowledge and insight to others”.

Nikki Clarke, Trailblazing entrepreneur, author, media personality and community leader, recognized me with a Social Justice Certificate in January 2025.

I will continue to impact the lives of others by sharing my insights and knowledge.
