Join Mississauga Youth Poet Laureate Lisa Shen for a workshop with the Art Gallery of Mississauga’s Poetic Voices Series! Participants will write poetry inspired by the lovely art in the gallery. The workshop will consist of an intro to spoken word, gallery tour, writing exercise, group share, and a Q&A/writing tips session.

About your facilitator: Lisa Shen is the 2023-2025 Youth Poet Laureate of the City of Mississauga. She placed second in the country at the 2023 Canadian Individual Poetry Slam. Her work has been featured by CBC Radio, Rattle, and Voicemail Poems.
