West Vocal Jam – August Edition

Singers and music lovers! All are welcome to our summer edition of West Vocal Jam featuring Mississauga’s celebrated vocalist and performer Andre Anthony!  This event was created to support vocalists in an encouraging environment. Join us at West Vocal Jam on Wednesday, August 13 at 7pm at the Crooked Cue in Port Credit. Vocalists are welcome to email hcb@rogers.com to secure your performing spot.

We are pleased to announce we have some incredible artists performing at this event. Our featured artist, Andre Anthony is a dynamic singer, songwriter, and musical theatre performer whose versatility has earned him collaborations with a wide range of acclaimed artists, including Josh Groban, Cyndi Lauper, Kurt Elling, Divine Brown, Robin Givens, Dave Douglas, Laila Biali, the Mississauga Big Band and more!

Celebrated Pianist Peter Hill will join us on keys. We welcome Mauro Bellotto, also a seasoned educator and musician on bass.

We are pleased to feature another young artist this edition.  Recent MARTY Award-winning JSAL will open for Andre Anthony with a special. Don’t miss the gorgeous vocals of this outstanding young woman.

Due to demand, singers are asked to email hcb@rogers.com to pre-register to have a guaranteed performance spot. We only have 8 spots left!   ALL ATTENDEES are welcome to pay-what-you-can in lieu of a cover charge. Suggested donation of $10-$20.

Singers – bring 2 copies of your charts or lead sheets for the band. Please note – NO SHEET MUSIC or multiple pages.

West Vocal Jam is created and presented by Heather Christine. This event is proudly supported by the Port Credit Community Foundation, the City of Mississauga, the Mississauga Arts Council and the Crooked Cue.

The Crooked Cue is located at 75 Lakeshore Rd E in Mississauga. Kindly be advised this venue is not wheelchair accessible.
