Sunsets & Sounds at Lakeview Village

Sunsets & Sounds is back for the summer, and will be hosted at the Recreation Field at Lakeview Village!

Join us for live music, local eats, and an evening of fun with your neighbours. It all kicks off September 13, 2023.

The Line Up:

Sept. 13 – Bywater Call and Dan Bodanis Band

Sept. 20 – Forever Seger and Marshall Dane

Sept. 27 – Paul Langlois Band and Boston Levi

Details:

1. Sept. 13, 20, and 27 from 6:30pm – 9:00pm. Doors open at 6:00pm. Arrive early to grab a snack or beverage before it starts. Scroll below for artist info…
2. Limited spots available! We recommend purchasing your tickets early.
3. BRING YOUR OWN CHAIR! There is limited fully accessible seating available on a first-come, first-served basis.
4. Featuring a rotating selection of food from Street Eats Market – a local incubator and accelerator for emerging and scaling street food businesses – with beer from our friends at Stonehooker Brewing and wine from Wine Wagon Mobile Bar. ID required and you must remain within the designated music area. This is a fully licensed event. No outside alcohol permitted on the premises.
5. This rain-or-shine event is open to all ages with 100% of proceeds* going to Feed Mississauga, a local not-for-profit that strives to ensure that no one in the City of Mississauga goes hungry. Kids under 12 years of age can attend for free.

How to get there:

1. The music series is now located at the parking lot next to the Recreation Field just south of the Discovery Centre located at 985 Hydro Rd. Please note, the Discovery Centre will not be open to the public during the music series. You can visit the Discovery Centre anytime during our regular hours.
2. Limited parking is available at the Discovery Centre. Please note the parking lot at the Recreation Field is closed to accessible parking only. Specifics on parking details will be released closer to the event date. Please be safe and drive responsibly.
3. We encourage you to walk, bike, take public transit or arrive by Uber/Lyft. Bike parking is available onsite at the Discovery Centre and along Hydro Rd near the Art Trail.

Music for a Cause: Lakeview Village is a proud supporter of Feed Mississauga, and has partnered with this not-for-profit to make sure no one in the City of Mississauga goes hungry. All of the proceeds from event ticket sales* will be donated directly to Feed Mississauga. 100% of your donation will be going towards the next Feed Mississauga meal project for people in need, “Open Table”, as well as sleeping bags for the homeless – it is going to be very cold soon and we are running out. Join us in making a difference and supporting our neighbours.
