Presented by VAM, the Prismatic: BIPOC Mentorship Residency offers 2 emerging artists & 2 established artists an opportunity in Mississauga to participate in a 4-month production, exhibition and mentorship program with a focus on collaboration. Residents are paired to collaborate on a new body of work, co-developing a shared theme that reflects their collective vision. Together, they explore ideas, processes, and dialogue while engaging with VAM’s studios and digital platforms for a final exhibition in September 2025. Each artist will receive a production budget to produce work and an artist fee for their participation in the program.

The residency aims to nurture the growth of local artists and foster the development of collaborative thought-provoking work.

*emerging artists: 18 years of age and older that are in the early years of their professional career.

This opportunity is graciously funded by the Hazel McCallion Foundation.

Deadline to apply is May 9, 2025 at 11:59 PM.
