Zohra Zoberi

Zohra is a multifaceted Canadian author, playwright, and poet. Her notable works include the poetry collection "True Colours", memoir "The Other I", and plays "Window Shopping... for lasting Love" and "Questionably Ever After". She co-authored "One and One make eleven", a fusion of literary arts. With 40 years of community service through literary arts, Zohra has spearheaded numerous fundraisers, concerts, and stage shows, including the Annual International Peace Poetry event. Her research-based plays, addressing social issues like arranged marriages, divorce, and women's abuse have been staged to capacity audiences in Mississauga. Following a 20-year banking career, where she won a top National Award, Zohra managed an Optometric Dispensary for 13 years. A recipient of multiple literary, sports, and career-related awards, Zohra is now driven to write a book supporting caregivers worldwide, inspired by her personal experience as a care provider addressing the challenges of dementia.
